Over the past year the ILRC has worked closely with immigrant students from Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area and the California Central Valley on issues related to securing a better future for the students and their families. Today, immigrant high school students continue to work on student-led campaigns related to these issues. ILRC's goal, in collaboration with partner organizations and volunteers, is to provide immigrant student leaders with the necessary tools to advocate for changes to policies that adversely affect their future. Students are also involved in campaigns aimed to inform fellow students and their families about enacted changes to policies and what steps to take to benefit from new policies. With their campaigns, students aim to advocate, inform, and encourage the participation of fellow students and their families.
