The work of the Immigrant Legal Resource Center is made possible by foundation grants, contributions from law firms, donations from individuals and groups, and revenue from product sales. By making a donation to the ILRC today you can add your voice to our collective effort to stand up for the rights of this country’s immigrant community! The Immigrant Legal Resource Center is tax exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code Tax ID #94-2939540, and all gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

All donations to the ILRC can be made either in memory or in honor of someone special to the donor. When memorializing someone please provide the name of the person being memorialized and the name and address of the person to receive an acknowledgement letter of the memorial gift. Workplace Giving

Workplace giving
Workplace giving campaigns offer the convenience of giving to one agency that then disperses the gifts to the organizations you designate. Options for giving include a one-time gift or a year-long pledge that is automatically deducted from your paycheck each pay period.

Planned Giving

Planned giving
Planned giving refers to the donation of assets to one or more nonprofit organizations. Planned giving most often involves a professional advisor and attorney and requires a great amount of thought and planning. In deciding to make a planned gift, there are many factors to consider including your lifetime income needs, the needs of dependent family and friends, and the use of your money after your death. Carefully structured planned gifts can help to sustain the important work of the ILRC on behalf of immigrants and immigrant communities while simultaneously providing many benefits to you. The benefits of making a planned gift can include:

  • Charitable tax-deductions that reduce your income tax
  • Avoiding capital gains tax on appreciated securities
  • A legacy in honor of your loved one or family
