Thank you so much for joining the ILRC for the upcoming 2022 Phillip Burton Immigration & Civil Rights Awards on Wednesday, September 14!

We are excited to welcome you back to our first in-person Burton Awards event since 2019.

The ILRC takes seriously the health and safety of all attendees of the 2022 Burton Awards. To that end, we are employing the following protocols to ensure the health and safety of all who attend, including sponsors, ticket holders, and their guests. Please share this information with all of your guests and have everyone return the completed information to the ILRC by Monday, September 12. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

We are asking ALL ATTENDEES to:

  • Upload prior to the event or present at the event their current vaccination status as a condition of attendance. We will not admit anyone to the event unless they are “fully vaccinated” as per the CDC definition.
  • Upload prior to the event or complete at the event a waiver of liability to attend the Burton Awards. The form is attached. If you are unable to print the form, please review it and be prepared to sign the waiver at the event. We will have blank forms available.
  • Complete a short questionnaire at the event to let us know if they’ve recently been exposed to COVID-19 or if they are currently awaiting the results of a PCR test. They will not be admitted if they cannot pass this questionnaire. The questionnaire is attached. We will have blank forms available at the event.
  • Take a COVID-19 test in advance of attending the event and attesting that they have received a negative result. We will have test kits at the event in case they are unable to test prior to the event. It may take up to 15 minutes to receive your results, and we will have a room where attendees can await your results.
  • We require that all attendees wear a mask except when eating or drinking. We strongly encourage that all attendees wear an N-95 or KN-95, which we will have for attendees at the registration table.

We appreciate your help to ensure that we make our first in-person Burton Awards a safe and healthy one.
