(Washington)—The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) condemned the Senate passage of the Trump-controlled bill that slashes spending for healthcare and food programs to fund punitive policies targeting immigrant communities.





Another Inhumane Trump Decision: Ending Temporary Protected Status for Haitians

(Washington)—In another cruel and heartless move the Trump administration has announced that it is ending temporary protected status (TPS) for Haitian immigrants—TPS will expire on August 3, 2025 and the termination will take effect on September 2, 2025.





Supreme Court Gets It Wrong and Hands Trump More Power

(Washington)—The Supreme Court has once again declined to limit the Trump Administration’s abuse of executive power and has decided to limit federal district court judges’ ability to issue nationwide injunctions. Today’s decision furthers the country’s current plunge into authoritarianism and opens the door for the enactment of even more policies rooted in racial animus. The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) will continue to stridently stand against this.
