UPDATE: On October 24, 2019, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued a new fee waiver request form, making the changes discussed above. However, this new fee waiver form is not required until December 2, 2019. Until then, if you qualify for a fee waiver request based on receiving public benefits, you should meet with a legal representative now about submitting your applications using the current fee waiver request form. Even if you are unable to file your application by that date, you may still qualify for a fee waiver based on your income.
