Support the ILRC: More Ways to Give

Monthly Giving Club: The ILRC’s Monthly Giving Club lets you pledge your continued support to the ILRC’s work throughout the year. A recurring monthly charge will be made to your credit card on file for as long as you designate. To activate recurring giving, please go to our donation page and check the box, “Make this a recurring gift” in the section called, “Recurring Gift.” If you have any issues or need to update your card information, please contact Cynthia Housel at chousel@ilrc.org.

Matching Gift Program: You may be able to double or triple your contribution to the ILRC through your employer’s matching gift program. Check with your human resources department to learn more.

Workplace Giving: Workplace giving campaigns offer the convenience of giving to one agency that disperses gifts to the organizations you designate. Options for giving can include a one-time gift or a year-long pledge that is automatically deducted from your paycheck each pay period.

Planned Giving: There are multiple factors to consider when making a planned gift including your lifetime income needs, the needs of dependent family and friends, and the use of your money after your death. Carefully structured planned gifts can provide many benefits and additionally help to sustain the important work of the ILRC on behalf of the immigrant community. A legacy in honor of your loved one or family can provide charitable tax-deductions to reduce your income taxes or help avoid capital gains tax on appreciated securities. Contact your accountant or attorney for more information.

Gift of Stock: A gift of securities is one of the easiest ways to make a donation in support of immigrant rights. Donating appreciated securities such as stocks or mutual funds can significantly increase funds available for your contribution and provide a charitable deduction. A donor can avoid capital gains tax on gifted shares that have increased in value. If you have or plan to make a gift of stock, please send Cynthia Tirado Housel, Director of Leadership Giving, an email at chousel@ilrc.org with the date of transfer, number of shares, and company name of the stock or see the DTC Form for instructions. Contact the ILRC for more information.

Mail a Donation: If you prefer to mail a donation to the ILRC, please address it to: ILRC, c/o Development Dept., 1458 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94103.
